Ministers and Staff
Rev. Jeff Miner, Pastor
Pastor Jeff came to Jesus MCC on January 4,1997. This is his first pastorate. Prior to completing his training and ordination, he practiced law for 13 years, serving as
Deputy Chief Counsel for Legislative Affairs at a federal banking agency in Washington, D.C. He is an honors graduate of Harvard Law School (J.D., 1983) and Bob Jones
University (B.A., 1980). He prepared for the clergy in our denomination's Samaritan Clergy Training Program.
Jeff is 48 years old and lives with his spouse of fifteen
years, David Zier. Jeff was born and raised in Indianapolis, and has made a long-term commitment to Jesus MCC.

Melody Merida, Minister of Congregational Care
 Melody joined Jesus MCC in September, 2007 as the Minister of Congregational Care. Before serving in this capacity, she was actively involved in Jesus MCC's Discipleship and Oasis programs as well as serving on the Missions Board.
She grew up in Bloomington, Indiana, and attended Liberty University. Her professional endeavors have included managing a childcare facility and leading the warranty program for a local home builder.
Melody has been in a committed relationship with her partner, Lori Thomas, for 4 years. Their family consists of four dogs and one cat. |

David Squire, Communications Director
 David Squire has served with Jesus MCC since January, 1999, first as Administrator and now as Communications Director.
Before coming to Jesus MCC he worked in various technical and creative fields, including web site design and management, graphic design, and data management. He
and his partner, David Wene, have been together since 1997. They were joined in Civil Union in Vermont in December, 2000. |

Jason Saylor, Accompanist
 Jason began serving as Accompanist in August, 2002. He has studied keyboard instruments since the age of five, and
has served as church accompanist and choir director for other churches before coming to Jesus MCC. He studied vocal performance at Indiana University.
Jason enjoys performing in musical theatre when time permits and performed professionally during college. Jason's primary job is with McDonald's Corporation as a
Field Consultant for the southern Indiana area. |
